Welcome to Egypt! A land where history feels alive and the Bible comes to life. Located in North Africa, Egypt connects the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. It’s a place of contrast: ancient temples and busy cities, camel rides and fast trains, desert winds and the life-giving Nile River.
More than 110 million people live here, and the main language is Arabic, but English is widely spoken too. Egypt is home to Cairo, one of the oldest and busiest cities in the world, and just outside it, the Pyramids of Giza, which have stood for over 4,500 years.
What makes Egypt special isn’t just its monuments, but its deep soul. This is a country that has seen prophets, miracles, and movements of God. It’s not just part of history. It’s part of His story.
The Great Pyramid of Giza is the only one of the original Seven Wonders of the World that still exists today—built more than 4,500 years ago!

The Nile River flows from south to north, ending in the Mediterranean Sea. Most rivers in the world do the opposite!
The ancient Library of Alexandria once held over 400,000 scrolls. Today, the new Bibliotheca Alexandrina continues the dream of knowledge and learning.
Egypt isn’t just in history books! It’s in the Word of God. From Genesis to Revelation, this land plays a powerful role in God's plan.
“Out of Egypt I called my Son.” – Matthew 2:15
When King Herod threatened His life, baby Jesus found safety in Egypt, fulfilling ancient prophecy and making Egypt a holy refuge.
The most dramatic story of rescue in the Bible, Moses, the plagues, the Red Sea, and God’s deliverance, all happened in Egypt. It was a place of suffering, but also of God’s mighty power.
“Blessed be Egypt My people...” – Isaiah 19:25
Egypt isn’t forgotten in prophecy. God promises a day when Egypt will worship Him with other nations. It’s a land of both judgment and redemption.
