📖 North Cyprus in the Bible

🔹 Cyprus – The Island of Early Christianity

While North Cyprus is part of the island of Cyprus, the island itself has important biblical ties. The Apostle Paul and his companion Barnabas visited Cyprus on their first missionary journey, preaching the Gospel and establishing early Christian communities (Acts 13:4-12).

🔹 Salamis – Ancient City Linked to the Bible

The ruins of Salamis, located in North Cyprus, date back to ancient times. Though not directly mentioned in the Bible, Salamis was a key city in early Christian history, where Paul’s teachings spread.

🔹 Christian Heritage in Cyprus

Cyprus became an important center for Christianity in the Roman period, helping spread the faith across the Mediterranean region.
