Through an Adventurers Club in Beirut, children and parents from the wider community are finding a place to grow in faith together, opening new opportunities for ministry.
At a recent campout, 82 people—including children, parents, teen siblings, staff members, and even a couple of babies—came together under the theme “Travel with Faith.” Through Bible stories, they explored how Samuel listened and obeyed God, how Abraham followed in faith, and how Naaman was healed because of the faith of a young girl. Between games, activities, songs, and worship, the weekend was alive with laughter, learning, and new friendships.
Parents expressed heartfelt appreciation for the impact of the club. “Truly a wonderful weekend and a wonderful club that I’m so happy my son is part of,” said one parent. Another added, “Thank you to all the staff for your dedication, drive, and belief. That’s what makes it a beautiful experience for all the children.”
Beyond the activities for children, the Adventurers Club is also providing valuable opportunities to support parents navigating the challenges of raising kids today. Leaders work alongside parents during meetings and events, offering encouragement and guidance.
As one father shared, “Dedication, sacrifice, and faith… thank you so much for the Adventurers Club. It makes a difference not only for our children, but for us parents as well. God bless you all!”
Let us pray: God who welcomes the little children, bless parents, teachers, and everyone who is serving the young so that they may know you and become your disciples. Strengthen the families and draw them close to you.
