Adventists in MENA join the worldwide OneVoice27 launch, using their own voices and platforms to share the hope that Jesus makes All Things New.
MENA Adventists Join World Church in OneVoice27 Launch
Across the Middle East and North Africa, Adventists joined the worldwide launch of OneVoice27 on September 5, beginning a year centered on one message: Jesus makes All Things New.
The initiative invites everyone—from members to congregations to Union leadership—to show up right where they are, using their own relationships, conversations, and social media platforms to lift up Jesus and offer hope.
In MENA, the launch began with prayer, with people signing up to pray continuously from Friday afternoon through Sabbath until midnight. Teams across MENA had prepared for the launch by translating and dubbing OneVoice27 videos and the theme song into local languages, while churches and fields gathered materials members could share through their own networks.
At Arise Beirut in Lebanon, the congregation watched the General Conference promotional video during their Sabbath service and heard how each member could make an eternal impact by sharing Jesus on their personal platforms. Then they simultaneously posted the church's own launch reel. The reel invited viewers to comment “All Things New” to receive a free e-book about how Jesus makes lives new. It reached thousands of people who don't follow the church's channels, and five requested the e-book. All five are now receiving follow-up.
For one member, taking part was as simple as changing her WhatsApp profile picture to an “All Things New” image. It caught the eye of a friend she had lost touch with, someone who had once shown interest in her faith. They reconnected, opening the door for their conversation to continue.
In another MENA country, a member shared an “All Things New” graphic in the local language with the words, “The most beautiful page of your life has not yet been written.” Alongside it, she wrote about how easily people feel trapped in endless problems, and how God has wonderful plans and the power to rewrite an entire life story. Her friends responded almost immediately. Some admitted their lives felt chaotic and hopeless, and said her words moved them to ask God to show them His better plans. She is grateful for the chance to offer hope and continues to pray for each of them.
Work is underway on resources for the year ahead. An online course on the life of Jesus, based on The Desire of Ages, is in development alongside a course on Daniel and Revelation. Daily devotionals in Arabic and English help members stay close to God and His Word through the week. A new communication studio is taking shape, and a dedicated channel lets any member, not just content creators, share OneVoice27 content with their own contacts.
In one MENA field, social media accounts less than a year old reached more than 10,000 people and drew over 100,000 views in a single month. As more members add their voices, new opportunities are emerging to share the message that Jesus makes All Things New.
